You might have seen Justin Bateman in Family Ties, Californication, or Desperate Housewives. Violet marked her feature film directorial debut, but it didn’t premiere as scheduled because of the 2020 SXSW Film Festival’s cancellation. She also directed Five Minutes, a short film that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.Bateman looks quite different now at 55, with a wrinkle here and there indicating signs of aging. That doesn’t diminish her beauty, though, and we’re sure her husband, Mark Fluent, would agree. The mother of two last starred in the 2021 comedy movie The Allnighter.
