Anne Reid comes from Newcastle. She was born there back in 1935. Even though she’s 85 right now, Reid remains surprisingly active as an actress. In fact, she’ll be playing on SAS: Red Notice in 2021! Throughout her long-lasting career, she’s worked on numerous successful projects.Her very first role was on The Machine Breakers series. Eventually, she found her way on Coronation Street, where she played until 1971. Reid has since ventured into theatrical productions like The York Realist in 2002 and Hedda Gabler 10 years later. Since 2012, she’s also been playing on Last Tango in Halifax.
