Joe Pesci didn’t feel like doing “the gangster thing again” when Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese asked him to join The Irishman. He even reportedly said no 50 times before they got him to agree on doing the 2019 crime flick! We’re sure he’s glad he said yes, though, since he earned an Academy Award Best Supporting Actor nomination for it.The now 78-year-old Pesci has played tough-guy roles in different genres throughout his career. He has teamed up with director Scorsese and fellow actor De Niro in some movies like Casino and Goodfellas. With only 40 acting credits on his IMDb page, Pesci is currently worth $50 million.
