In 1984 Sue Devaney got a role on Coronation Street. She continued portraying Debbie Webster for a year before deciding to try her luck elsewhere. In fairness, she ended up making a name for herself, playing in Johnny Briggs and Dinnerladies. Little did she know that she’d go back where she started from, so many decades later.Her other most famous project was Casualty in the ‘90s. Since 2019 she’s been back on the show portraying Debbie. Today Sue is 53 years old yet hardly looks 40! According to her IMDb page, she’s even going to be playing on a new film called Made in the Eighties.
