Dan Quayle was a notable personality during George H. W. Bush’s presidency, for he was the vice president. He previously served as a senator and representative in his hometown of Indiana. During the ’90s, he battled phlebitis, and it caused him to say no to running for president.He thought he would run in 2000, but he chose to back out and show his support for George W. Bush. Today, Quayle doesn’t have prominent roles in the government anymore. He’s still well-connected, and he even attended Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021.
